Guinea Vs Namibia Highlights

Egypt Vs Sudan Highlights

Defending Champions Egypt look all set to qualify from Group C after coming away with all three points after beating Sudan 3-0 in Tamale on Saturday.

Sudan goalkeeper Elmuez Muhgoub brings down Hosny Abd Rabou in the area and it’s a definite penalty. Hosny dusts himself off and scores the penalty down low to Muhgoub’s left. However, the referee orders a retake and Hosny keeps his cool and send the ball the other way to give Egypt the lead against the run of play.

Amr Zaki does all the hard work before rolling it across to Aboutraika who side-footed home from six yards.

Cameroon Vs Zambia Highlights

Cameroon hammered Zambia 5-1 in their Group C match at Kumasi’s Baba Yaro stadium on Saturday with star striker Samuel Eto’o netting a penalty to equal the African Nations Cup goalscoring record.

A fantastic free-kick from Geremi from the edge of the area gives Cameroon the lead.

Kennedy Nketani misses his header and then Billy Mwanza takes an air shot which lets the grateful Job stride in to make it 2-0 with a simple right footed finish.

A good through ball by Alexandre Song isn’t dealt with by Isaac Chansa and Achille Emana rounds the keeper before coolly slotting home.

Eto’o shoots directly from a free-kick and it strikes the hand of Billy Mwanza. The referee had no hesitation pointing to the spot. Eto’o coolly slots home the penalty to equal the record for the most amount of goals scored in the Cup of Nations.

Job receives his second gift of the day as the defender inexplicably plays the ball past his goalkeeper into the path of the Nice striker. He couldn’t miss from three yards.

Nigeria Vs Mali Highlights

Nigeria failed to score in their 2nd successive game as they were held to a dire stalemate against Mali on Friday, leaving their hopes of qualifying for the quarter finals all in the hands of Ivory Coast who will have to beat Mali in their final group game to give the Super Eagles a hpe of reaching the quarters.

Ivory Coast Vs Benin Highlights

Ivory Coast booked a place in the quarter finals of the African Nations Cup after cruising to a 4-1 win over Benin on Friday. Goals from captain Didier Drogba, Barca’s Yaya Toure, Abdulkader Keita and Aruna Dindane gave the Elephants the comfortable win and the luxury of resting players ahead of their final group game against Mali.
