Barcelona Vs Getafe Highlights

Lione Messi put on a sublime performance to thump Getafe 5-2 in the first leg of the Copa Del Rey semifinals at the Nou Camp last night. Xavi opened the floodgates with the first goal after 18 minutes but it was all about Messi ten minutes later when he scored arguably the goal of the season eminences of Maradona at his peak with a superb solo effort starting in his own half.

Messi added a second before halftime but Getafe tried to salvage some pride with two successive goals in the 57th and 59th minutes through Daniel Guiza and Nacho but Barca killed off Getafe’s hopes through two strikes from Eidur Gudjohnsen and Samuel Eto’o.
