Two goals in the space of four minutes gave West Ham an encouraging 2-1 win over Italian side AS Roma at Upton Park on Saturday. Ex-Barca man Ludovic Guily had given his new side the lead after 13 minutes with a crisp shot before George McCartney restored parity in the 64th minute. Dean Ashton, who replaced Bobby Zamora at half time then got the winner four minutes later with low strike then went through Curci’s legs.
