Spurs unbeaten record in this season’s Uefa Cup came to an end after a dubious penalty awarded against them was coolly slotted in by Spurs old boy Frederic Kanoute. Spurs made a dream start after Robbie Keane put them ahead after just 68 seconds but a controversially-awarded penalty to the home side which was placed perfectly by Fredi Kanoute managed to level the scores before Alexander Kerzhakov headed in the winner following shoddy defending from Michael Dawson.
