Chelsea have entered the race to sign Sevilla’s highly rated right back Daniel Alves. British tabloid The Sun reports that Chelsea academy director Frank Arnesen had met the Sevilla star’s agent at the Hilton Hotel in Park Lane last Friday when Brazil where scheduled to face England in an International friendly.
Chelsea will also offer Paolo Ferreira or Khalid Boulahrouz in exchange in a bid to nick the Brazillian from the likes of Real Madrid and Liverpool.
Alves has garnered a reputation as one of the hardest tacklers in La Liga and is seen as the man to fill the problem right-back position at Stamford Bridge.
