David Beckham marked his return from an 11 month international exile by setting up England’s first goal at Wembley in a 1-1 draw against Brazil in the first senior international game at the new Wembley.

John Terry netted the first after climbing at the far post to meet Beckham’s deep free-kick to head past Brazillian keeper Helton in the 68th minute but slack marking from the England backline in the dying seconds allowed Bremen midfielder Diego to equalise with a deft header past Paul Robinson.
