Arjen Robben seems to have nothing on as he tries to twist and turn away from the attentions of Lilian Thuram but the winger makes an inch of space and smashes it into the top of the net. A fabulous goal which prompts a brief moment of stunned silence at the Wankdorf Stadium before the Dutch fans eventually rub their eyes and believe what they’ve just seen.

Robin van Persie passes to Wesley Sneijder and charges into the penalty area, screaming for the return. Forget it RVP. Sneijder takes a touch and curls a stunning shot into the top corner to seal a simply devastating display by the Dutch.
