Tottenham Hotspur Vs Chelsea Highlights

Chelsea take the lead three times but are pegged by a resiliant Spurs in a 4-4 thriller at White Hart Lane to severely dent the title hopes of the Blues.

Clever through ball by Joe Cole finds Michael Essien who, having just had lengthy treatment for a shin injury after a challenge by Didier Zokora, steers home a finish with the outside of his right foot.

He had one disallowed in the first half but this one counts. He accelerates passt Chimbonda and although Robinson looks to have made a block, the ball loops up and into the back of the net.

It’s almost a carbon copy of Woodgate’s goal as Berbatov gets above Terry and directs a superb header into the top corner leaving Cudicini with no chance. It came almost out of nowhere and once again it’s game on.

A brilliant finish by the midfielder who blasts the ball with his left-foot around 12 yards from a difficult angle. It all came from another set-piece and it’s 3-3 here at White Hart Lane, what a game!

The best player on the pitch times his run in behind the Spurs defence to perfection, spins past Chimbonda and emphatically blasts the ball past Robinson in the home goal. Brilliant play by Cole adn Chelsea have the advantage again.

A magnificent goal by Keane and unbelievably it’s 4-4 here! Carvalho turns his back, the ball comes off his back and falls to Keane 25 yards out and he curls aa sensational strike into the top corner of the net. An incredible finish at White Hart Lane!
